Privacy Policy
This page explains what data KRONITE VOID keeps when you play, what it is used for and how you can ask for it to be deleted. We try to keep only the minimum the game needs to work.
Who is responsible
KRONITE VOID is an independent game by MurzaGames. For any question about your data, write to kronitevoid@protonmail.com.
What data we keep
Your Steam ID, the public number of your Steam account. It tells us which save is yours.
Your Steam name. It is shown to other players in the leaderboard and in battles.
Your game data: ships, fleets, items, progress, trip and battle history.
Your IP address and technical data about each request (time, route, result) in the server logs. They are used for security, to stop abuse and to fix bugs.
We do not ask for your email, password, address or payment details. We never see your Steam password: Steam handles the sign-in.
What we use it for
To run the game and keep your save, for the leaderboards, to detect cheating and abuse, and to find and fix bugs. We do not use it for advertising or profiling.
The legal basis is providing the service you ask for when you play, and our legitimate interest in keeping the game secure and free of cheating.
Who it is shared with
Valve (Steam): the game uses Steam for sign-in and for the items in your Steam inventory. Steam handles that data under its own privacy policy.
Railway: the provider that runs the game's server and database.
Railway and Valve may process data outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. Those transfers are made with the safeguards the law requires, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
We do not sell your data. There are no ads, no third-party trackers and no third-party analytics.
How long we keep it
Game data is kept while the game remains in service or until you ask for it to be deleted.
Technical logs containing your IP address are deleted after 30 days, and error logs after 90.
Database backups are kept for up to about 90 days and then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, or ask for it to be corrected or deleted. Write to kronitevoid@protonmail.com with your Steam ID. We will reply within one month at most.
If you ask for deletion, we delete your game data and your name. In battles other players fought against you, your ship remains without a name or Steam ID. Items already in your Steam inventory are managed by Steam.
You can also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country (in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos).
Children
Playing requires a Steam account, with the minimum age Steam sets in each country. We do not knowingly collect more data from children than described here.
Changes to this policy
If anything changes, it will be published on this page and the date above will be updated.
